What You Will Do as a Health Care Support Worker

As a Health Care Support Worker with Acacia Homecare North West Surrey, you’ll play a vital role in helping people live independently and safely in their own homes. No two days are the same, but your care and compassion will make a difference every single day.

Your responsibilities may include:

Meal Preparation

Supporting customers with preparing meals is a big part of helping them stay healthy and independent. You might be asked to make a hot meal, a light snack, or simply help with planning what to eat.

Personal Care Support

From bathing and dressing to grooming and toileting, you’ll assist with the personal care needs of your customers in a way that protects their dignity, privacy, and independence.

Light Housekeeping

Maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment is essential for wellbeing. You might support with tasks such as tidying up, vacuuming, laundry, or making the bed — always with care and attention to detail.

Shopping and Errands

Whether it’s picking up groceries, collecting prescriptions, or helping with a trip to the post office, you’ll be there to support everyday tasks that keep life running smoothly.

Companionship and Conversation

Accompanying to Appointments or Outings
